He began his career as a trader at TD Waterhouse, then worked as an analyst at a small firm acquired by Montrusco Bolton, before managing private portfolios. He now has over 30 years of experience in investing and financial markets. Patrick has turned value investing and business management into a true passion. A graduate of HEC Montréal (BBA Finance), he holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.

Mr. Morel is a portfolio manager. He is responsible for investor letters and annual meetings. He began his career in insurance before becoming a manager at a private investment firm. Over the years, he has developed expertise in financial sector companies. A strong advocate of the value approach, he wrote articles for LesAffaires.com for a decade. Rémy has surprising mathematical skills and an ability to see things from a different angle. He holds a certificate in financial planning from UQAM and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.

Mr. Lauzière is a portfolio manager and Chief Compliance Officer. He coordinates the firm's general operations. Maxime began his career in corporate finance at National Bank Financial and KPMG. He then joined Duncan Ross. His experiences led him to take an interest in the impact of cognitive biases on investing. In 2018, he spent time in California to deepen his understanding of Silicon Valley companies. Maxime has a talent for simplifying complex concepts and demonstrating leadership. He is a graduate of McGill University (BCom Finance and Accounting) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Mr. Beaudry is a portfolio manager. He is responsible for business development and special projects at Barrage. He has 20 years of experience dedicated exclusively to value investing. He played a key role in establishing Duncan Ross's Montreal office. Mathieu has a knack for finding the best opportunities and is particularly interested in new technologies. A man of few words, his ambition and quiet strength are remarkable. A graduate of McGill University (BCom Finance), he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Ms. Meinrath is the Client Relations Manager. She ensures that every client has a smooth and positive investment experience. A member of the team since November 2014, she has contributed to the firm's growth by holding several strategic positions, including Chief Compliance Officer. Known for her thoroughness and professionalism, she is a trusted resource for clients and colleagues alike. A law graduate of the University of Montreal, Catherine has been a member of the Quebec Bar for nearly twenty years.

Mr. Gbedemah is an analyst and registered as an advising representative (portfolio manager). In addition to research, he is responsible for English speaking clients and relations with CIBC Mellon. After several years of experience with two major Canadian fund manufacturers, Fui joined Barrage in 2018. He stands out for his in-depth understanding of value investing. He has an extraordinary memory and great attention to detail. A graduate of Concordia University (BComm Finance), he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Mr. Brunette is an analyst and Dealing Representative (Exempt Market). In addition to his research work, he manages the technology side of the business and provides client relations support. He joined Barrage at the start of his career in 2020. His keen interest in value investing led him to produce and host a podcast on the subject. Jonathan demonstrates great maturity and a spirit of innovation. Jonathan is a graduate of HEC Montréal (BBA Finance) and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.

Ms. Handfield is the Finance & Compliance Manager. She is responsible for all administrative aspects of the firm. Her history with Barrage began as a student in 2015. She continued her career path to obtain her accounting designation with KPMG. She gained valuable experience with large companies before returning to Barrage in 2025. Marianne is known for her efficiency, versatility and team spirit. She holds a degree in accounting from the UQAM and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
